BREAKING NEWS: No Form 990 required by DC’s tax office
The DC Office of Tax and Revenue released a final rule repealing the requirement that organizations with a DC income tax exemption must file a copy of the IRS Form 990 with OTR. This means no annual tax reporting is required to OTR unless the organization has unrelated business income, in which case a franchise tax return must be completed.
