In the Spring 2010 Association TRENDS PULSE Report, executives reported that even though they had to cut benefits and perks for staff, they found that staff has stayed pretty optimistic (or at least neutral). 62.8% of professional societies and 56.7% of trade association executives thought that their staff was optimistic/very optimistic. Neutral answers comprised 29.1% of professional societies and 31.4% of trade associations. Negative/very negative staff comprised 8.2% of professional societies and 11.9% of trade associations.
