First association flash mob dance?
Participants of the National Restaurant Hotel-Motel Show, last month in Chicago, participated in a “flash mob dance” in McCormick Place, site of the event. About 75 participants - including members, exhibitors, chefs and others - busted a move to Lady GaGa’s “Just Dance” on the last day of the show, in front of media and unsuspecting passers-by. National Restaurant Association isn’t claiming to be the first association to plan a flash mob dance, but to the best of its
knowledge, this is a first for the restaurant industry, spokesman Annika Stensson said. The dance was planned to create buzz about the show as well as for the fun factor. A YouTube video was created before the show to teach the dance to those who wanted to join in the fun. To watch the group's flash mob dance click on the image above. Details: www.restaurant.org.
